CONTEMPORARY PHOTOGRAPHER
(Born in the Habana. Cuba).
Lives and Works in Madrid. She studied photography in London where she worked for the magazine Little White Lies and for the Discovering Latin America Film Festival (DLAFF). London Director of Photography for the video clip “Mambo Horizontal” by Boris Larramendi.
The artist describes her work as a consciously spontaneous act through which she seeks to capture a moment in time.
Her most recent work, shines a spotlight on urban deterioration and regeneration, exploring the relationship between graffiti and architecture, alongside the self-expression of the individual.
“As a photographer I try to document and reshape the reality which I meet along my way, in particular the work of the graffitists in the streets of the cities which I visit.”
