ChenTe Almodóvar
PAINTER AND SCULPTOR
(Santa Cruz de Mudela, Ciudad Real 1971).
Nowadays finishes his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Complutense of Madrid.
He studied painting at the School and Community of Artists, “House of Art Cruz” in Santa Cruz de Mudela, Ciudad Real between 1992 and 1997.
His painting elaborates a conceptual and syntactic plastic code of ideograms; influenced by the primitivism, neo-expressionism, and postmodernism, as well as by the latest scientific and philosophical images of ultramicroscopic or macroscopic, of the visible and invisible; graphic communication or proto-writing, seminal and inherently human as proposed by Anati, as semiotic universal alphabet.
A means of psychographic and expressive, the art is to establish connections and questions to the viewer. Haeckel’s evolutionary theory and Freud, “ontogenesis summarizes psycho-graphic or explain” as other topics dealing with disclosure issues influential to humanity, art as an evolution cultural tool.
