Ángel Muriel

PAINTER AND SCULPTOR

(Cáceres, Spain, 1948).

School of Fine Arts in Cáceres. Central School of Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts of Madrid.

His figurative work of a very personal and high quality plastic for the use and mastery of a wealth of technical resources revolves around the man, the drama of life and its tragic end, death.

His work is represented in many private collections and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Caceres, Museum Foundation of Santillana de Mar in Santander, International Museum of Contemporary Art in Lanzarote, Museum of Eton College in the United Kingdom and the Museum Foundation of Florencio de la Fuente in Cuenca.
